In Autumn 2019, New York City hosted an exhibition of 105 black and white photographs by Conte, taken during her first journey to Japan in the winter of 2018. Captured in the Kantō and Kansai regions, these images formed the foundation of her debut book, Minamo no Tsuki—a meditative visual diary that invites the viewer into a quiet, almost whispered observation of society.
